What at first was going to be an adventure that would last 12 days, was reduced to only 7. Bad weather and problems with acclimatization of some of the prevented team members we came to the summit.
The appointment the Huascaran began in the village of Musho where 11 mules and 8 porters were waiting to start a 4-hour hike that would take us to the base camp at 4300 meters.
2 days later we went to Camp 1 located at 5300 meters in the middle of glacier, where we spent our first evening in snow and that height. For some of the team members this was the maximum, and that problems of acclimatization had to abandon the summit attempt.
The next morning the rest of the team went to Camp 2 at 6000 meters. To access the had to go through a complicated area of \u200b\u200bcracks and ice climbing. Last night, due to problems with height, the team decided to descend the mountain the next day and desist from any attacks on top.
