Experts are urging the FDA to revise its opinion on

An advisory committee of the Food and Drug Administration (Food and Drug Administration, FDA) of USA has stated that the Agency should review the current information about dental amalgam fillings now present data that indicate the possibility of medical problems for patients. The committee, after hearing two days of testimony from experts, members of the public and dental professionals, recommended that the FDA review the information published since the Agency ruled in 2009 that mercury in dental amalgam is safe.
