Building on last hours in Huaraz and while the rest of the team is going to Hatun Machay to climb two of the group members decided to make an attempt to Vallunarraju of 5686m Nevado.
Parthia day and a half in our bus to Lima, and we found ourselves determined not to leave without dimple Huaraz another summit. We took a taxi that took us to the lake at about 4400m Llaca ahead we were nearly 1300m of climb that afternoon we
to bed early because at 2:30 we would be starting the climb.
Luckily for the couple weather of the last few days had ended and the night we revel in a meteor shower that accompanied our ascent. But it was not all good news, in a stretch of moraine lost the trail that led us to the moraine camp, so we ventured by an edge cons of powder snow where we sank to the waist and made it very difficult progression.
muchpo Finally after fighting with the mountain came to a hill and to our surprise
find traces of the normal route that we follow up top and after about 7 hours of climbing we are on top with a breathtaking views of the Cordillera Blanca.
